On this episode:

Elizabeth is joined by a very inspirational young woman, Lucy Meyer. She has a remarkable resume: Special Olympics 5 time Gold Medallist in Swimming, Spokesperson for the Special Olympics and UNICEF USA, Member of President Biden's White House Committee on Intellectual Disabilities, Spokesperson for people with intellectual disabilities who has spoken at the United Nations, the US Congress, and all over the world to over 200 schools, and over 6000 students.

Indeed, she is a very inspirational Special Olympian and her message is simple: Acceptance plus Inclusion plus Support equals Progress.

As Lucy says, You are never too young or too old to help a kid.

What inspires Lucy? "I want all kids, especially those with disabilities, to have the opportunity to have the same experiences in life, in sport, and in school that I was very lucky to have."

Lucy is a big advocate for unified sports, where kids with and without disabilities play together.

We can all learn from Lucy Meyer.
